Autumn Breathing Exercises
In autumn, the air is especially fresh and cool. The trees and plants are preparing for winter. The leaves fall and everything becomes colorful. When we breathe outside in autumn, we feel this cool and fresh air. It feels good and energizes us. Join in! Put on your jackets and come outside! Breathe deeply and play. Who can feel the autumn air the best?
How it works
-
Stand comfortably and close your eyes. Take a deep breath and listen to the sound of the wind. As you exhale, blow gently and imagine you are the autumn wind blowing through the trees.
-
Collect some fallen leaves. Hold them in your hands and take a deep breath. As you exhale, throw the leaves into the air and watch them dance and spin.
-
Stretch your arms out to the sides and take a deep breath. As you exhale, let your arms slowly fall down, as if raindrops are falling.
-
Imagine you are squirrels sniffing for nuts. Breathe in deeply through your nose and try to recognize the different scents of the autumn forest.
-
Imagine you have a tiny pumpkin in front of you. Take a deep breath and slowly exhale to 'inflate' your pumpkin. Can you feel it growing?
-
Let's have fun together and enjoy autumn. The fresh air is waiting for us. So, take a deep breath and laugh. Autumn is here – and it’s wonderful!
