Resilience is like a superhero muscle inside us that everyone has. Sometimes, when things get tough or don’t go our way, this muscle helps us not to give up and to try again. Here’s how to strengthen your resilience muscle.

Anzeige

How it works

  1. If you don’t succeed right away, just try again. Each time you do, your muscle gets stronger. If someone always does everything for us, we don’t learn for ourselves, and our muscle stays small.

  2. When we feel sad and no one is there to listen, our superhero muscle feels alone. But if you can talk to someone who understands you, you’ll feel strong and protected again.

  3. When you achieve something, celebrate it. It’s like a high-five for your muscle.

  4. If we are constantly told what we are doing wrong, our muscle feels sad. But when someone notices what we are doing well and praises our effort, our muscle shines.

  5. When others say we’re not doing something well, it makes our muscle smaller. But if we believe in ourselves and know we can just try and learn, our muscle gets bigger.

  6. If a day wasn’t great, that’s okay. Tomorrow is a new day to play and learn. And always remember: everyone has this superhero muscle, and the more you use it, the stronger it gets!
