Superpowers Against Tantrums
Hello young heroes! Today we have a special mission for everyone going through some emotional storms. Sometimes our feelings can feel like a wild storm in our belly. They can overwhelm us so much that we want to throw or kick things. But guess what? We have a new mission to tame these storms and learn how to control these feelings. Ready? Let’s go!
How it works
-
Super Breathing Power - Find a quiet place. It can be your room, a calm spot in the garden, or at school. Breathe in deeply through your nose, hold your breath for 3 seconds, and slowly breathe out through your mouth. Repeat this five times. Notice how you feel calmer and more relaxed.
-
Thought Lightning - Think of something negative that just happened to you. Make a quick hand movement through the air as if you are drawing a lightning bolt. Imagine that this lightning hits the dark cloud. Immediately switch to a happy moment in your mind.
-
Superpower Shield - Stand tall and take a deep breath. Stretch out your arms and think of a glowing shield around you. Say to yourself: "I am strong and protected!" Imagine how negative words and actions simply bounce off. You are safe.
-
Superpower Rocket Launch - When anger grabs you, prepare for launch! It’s okay to be angry. Imagine you are a rocket. Bend your knees and then jump high into the air. With each jump, you accept your anger and give it space without letting it overwhelm you.
-
Superpower Emotion Bridge - When you are angry, talk to someone you trust or show it through a sign. It often helps to talk about it. Together you will surely find a solution.
