Spring Magic: Crafting Tulips from Tissue Paper
Imagine your window turning into a colorful spring meadow! With handmade tulips from tissue paper, you can bring spring into your home. When the sun shines through, your tulips will glow in the most beautiful colors! Let's get started! Fold your own flowers for the window!
What you'll need
- Square, colorful tissue paper
- Square, green tissue paper
- Tape
How it works
-
Fold the square diagonally to form a triangle. Place the triangle with the tip facing up in front of you. Fold the right and left sides upwards at an angle.
-
Turn the shape over. The two corners that are sticking out will be slightly bent. This gives the tulip its shape. Turn it over again, and your tulip bloom is ready!
-
Take a larger or equal square of green tissue paper. Fold it into a triangle and then unfold it. Fold the corners to the center crease to create a diamond shape.
-
Fold each side again towards the center, making the stem narrower. Bend the short tip down.
-
Now comes the trick. Turn it over and fold the stem lengthwise so that it looks like a tulip stem.
-
Place the tulip bloom on top of the stem and secure it with a small piece of tape. Now you can stick your tulips on the window, either individually or as a colorful flower meadow! When the sun shines, your tulips will glow like real flowers in spring. Try different colors.
