Snowmen from Fingerprints
Do you want to create Christmas cards that are truly special? How about making snowmen from your handprints? Your fingers will turn into little snowmen, brought to life with colorful hats, carrot noses, and warm scarves. In the end, you'll have not just a card, but a little piece of art to give away. What you'll need
- Blank card
- Finger paint (white)
- Colored construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Brush
- Black felt-tip pen
How it works

Paint your palm (excluding the thumb) with white finger paint. Make sure the paint isn't too thick. Press your hand gently onto the card. Your four fingers will become the snowmen.

Paint a snow mound under the snowmen with white paint so they don't look like they're 'floating'. You can use a brush or your fingers, whichever you enjoy most. Let the paint dry.

Cut out noses from orange paper. For the hats, take colorful paper and cut it into semicircles, triangles, or cylinder shapes. Scarves can be made from strips. Glue the noses, hats, and scarves onto the snowmen. Take your time! This is where you can be creative!

Now the snowmen come to life. Draw eyes, mouths, and buttons on the snowmen with the black pen. For the arms, simply draw two lines extending outwards, just like real branches.

Take the hole punch and punch out small circles from white paper. These will be your snowflakes. Glue the snowflakes around the snowmen. It will look like it's snowing.

Write a personal greeting on the card like 'Merry Christmas'. A few kind words will make your card truly special. In the end, it's the best to bring joy to others with something handmade. That's what Christmas is all about!
