Making Chalk Salt

What you'll need

• Colorful chalk pieces
• Plate
• Salt
• Optional: funnel or spoon for filling
• Jar or similar container

How it works

   Before we start, gather everything you need. You will need salt, colorful chalk, and a flat plate or another surface.

   Spread an even layer of salt on your plate. Now take a piece of colorful chalk and make circular motions over the salt. The chalk should slowly mix with the salt and color it.

   Experiment with different colors and create your own colorful chalk salt!

   Once you are happy with your color creations, you can layer them alternately in a jar. Fill the jar with the different colored salt layers one after the other.

   Repeat this process until the jar is filled to the top with the colored layers. Seal it well.
