With two coffee filters, a pair of scissors, and some tape, you can turn a regular stick into a real little witch's broom. You'll be cutting, rolling, and sticking, and you'll realize: crafting is like magic. Things that had nothing to do with each other suddenly become something new. What you'll need

Stick
Coffee filters
A pair of scissors
Colorful tape or string

How it works

Go outside and find a small stick that fits well in your hand. Not too thick, not too thin. Feel the bark, touch the wood; this will be your witch's broom. If you like, you can clean it a bit.
First, cut off the edges of the coffee filters on the right and left so that they are open. Then cut them into many narrow strips from the outside almost to the middle. This will create the bristles of your broom.
Roll the two coffee filters around the end of your stick. The cut strips should point downwards. Secure everything with tape, nice and tight. Now your broom is sturdy and already looks quite magical.
Maybe your broom will also get a name. 'Fluffy', 'Lightning', or 'Ms. Curly'? After that, you can let your broom fly, of course only in your imagination! Run a few laps in the garden or in your room. Feel brave and free.
