Making a Balloon Wreath
You are secret artists on a mission to fill the gray world with colors. Your magical tools? Colorful balloons and a mysterious wreath waiting for your creativity to bring it to life.
What you'll need
- About 100 colorful balloons
- Styrofoam wreath or straw wreath
- Pins
How it works
-
Place all your colorful balloons, pins, and the wreath on the table. These are the treasures you will work with.
-
Before you start, think about how you want your wreath to look. Do you want to create a pattern with the colors? Or maybe a random, colorful arrangement? It's your artwork, so decide for yourself!
-
Take a balloon and hold the neck gently. Then, push the pin into the wreath to secure the balloon. Make sure the balloon is tight, but the pin doesn't pierce the balloon.
-
Repeat this process with the remaining balloons until the entire wreath is covered. Overlap the balloons slightly to ensure no parts of the base are visible and the wreath looks full and colorful.
-
Once you have attached all the balloons, admire your work. You have learned today how to plan, work carefully, and be creative. With your hands, you can not only create colorful wreaths from balloons but also make the world a little bit more beautiful every day.
