Make a Confetti Lantern
Today is all about color as you create a fantastic confetti lantern together. This adventure is not only exciting, but you'll also learn how to make something beautiful with simple materials.
What you'll need
- Clean jar
- Glue
- Brush
- Colorful confetti
- Crafting surface
- LED tealight
How it works

First, you need an empty jar – maybe an old jam jar or a pickle jar. Can you see how you can give new life to old things?

Now it's time for the glue. Use a brush to carefully coat the outside of the jar. Don't worry if it gets a bit sticky – that's part of the fun!

Now it gets really colorful! Take the confetti and sprinkle it over the sticky jar. Each piece of confetti brings its own little story – be creative! You can make patterns or just sprinkle it wildly. Your lantern, your rules!

When you're done, you've created a beautiful lantern. Place an LED tealight inside and watch how the light dances through the colorful confetti. It will look like a little glowing treasure in your home.
