Do you know what’s really fun, costs no money, and can happen right outside your door? Jumping in puddles! Just imagine: The rain stops, and the world feels fresh and new. Everything smells like earth and wet leaves. And there they are – the glittering puddles on the sidewalk, in the park, or on the playground. They’re just waiting for you to discover them! Some are small and shallow, while others are deep and big. The sky reflects in them, and when you jump in, you can even make the clouds dance. So grab your rubber boots, put on your rain jacket, and get ready to dive into the world of puddles!

What you'll need

  • Rubber boots
  • Rain gear

How it works

  1. Preparation is half the adventure. Put on your rain gear and rubber boots! Get ready for some splashing fun!

  2. Go outside and look for the best puddles. Make sure they are safe. You don’t want to jump into a puddle that’s so deep you could sink.

  3. Have a jumping contest with your family or friends. Find out who can make the biggest splashes. Who can send the water flying the highest?

  4. Look at the reflections in the puddles. Can you see the clouds, trees, or even yourself?

  5. Imagine the puddles are other worlds. Are they ponds with tiny fish? Are they huge oceans where you jump from island to island?

  6. Have a race. Who can hop from puddle to puddle the fastest?

  7. And for the grand finale: Make a big jump with the highest leap you’ve ever done! Splash the water high into the air and laugh with all your heart. Because that’s the best part of jumping in puddles: the carefree fun and joy of nature.
