Ghost Light from a Toilet Roll

Have you ever seen a real ghost? No? Then conjure one up that dances on the wall! With a simple toilet roll and a flashlight or phone light, you can create your own spooky ghost light.

What you'll need

Empty toilet roll
A black marker
Rubber band
Clear plastic wrap
Flashlight or phone light

How it works

Cut the clear plastic wrap so that it fits perfectly over one end of the toilet roll. This will be your "screen" for the ghost light.
Draw a ghostly design on the clear plastic wrap with the black marker. It can be spooky, funny, or cute – whatever you like!
Attach the decorated clear plastic wrap to one end of the toilet roll with tape or a rubber band, making sure the design is clearly visible.
Turn on your flashlight or phone light and shine it through the open end of the toilet roll. Position the toilet roll so that the light shines through the clear plastic wrap onto a wall or ceiling. You'll see your ghosts come to life and dance on the wall!
