What you'll need

  • LED tealights
  • Colorful pipe cleaners
  • Colorful pom poms
  • Craft glue
  • Black permanent marker
  • Colored construction paper
  • Scissors

How it works

  1. Cut the pipe cleaner so that it fits perfectly over the "head" of your snowman. Glue a pom pom to each end of the pipe cleaner. Stick the finished earmuff on top of the tealight. Now your snowman looks really cool!

  2. With the black permanent marker, draw two eyes above the "flame". The flame itself will be the nose. Draw dots for the mouth in a semicircle below the flame with the black marker.

  3. You can also make several snowmen. Cut a hat out of construction paper. It should be long enough to fit around the snowman’s head. Place the hat on your snowman’s head and glue it in place. You can decorate the hat with a colorful pom pom and pipe cleaner strips.

  4. Finally, turn on your LED tealights and marvel: Your snowmen glow, smile, and are ready for winter. Place them on your windowsill, desk, or give them to someone you care about.
