Design Your Own T-Shirt
Today, you will become real designers! We will show you how to create your own T-shirts! You know it's important to be creative and make things yourself. But did you also know that we can do something good for our environment at the same time? Today, we will show you how to give old, stained T-shirts a second life instead of throwing them away. Cool, right? Let's get started!
What you'll need
- Old T-shirt
- Cling film
- Scissors
- Favorite motifs
- Iron
- Ironing board
How it works

Choose your favorite motifs from magazines, draw your own pictures, or use our templates. Carefully cut them out with scissors. Remember to be creative and pick motifs that you really like!

Place a layer of cling film underneath and one on top, so the motif is well protected and there is a border of film around the edges. Press the film down well so that the motif doesn't shift while ironing.

Place your T-shirt on an ironing board. Put a clean kitchen towel inside to ensure that the film doesn't seep through the T-shirt.

Ask an adult to help you with the ironing. Place your wrapped motifs on the T-shirt and cover them with a piece of baking paper. Iron carefully and evenly over the film with high heat until it bonds with the fabric.

Let the T-shirt cool for a few minutes before gently peeling off the film. Then admire your own unique design! Show it off to your friends and family with pride!
