Dealing with Defeats
Once upon a time, there was a dog named Hannah. Hannah loved playing with her friends. One day, they decided to play a game with balls. Hannah was so excited because she was a great catcher and thrower. She thought she would win the game and everyone would be proud of her. But during the game, things didn't go well for Hannah. She didn't throw the ball accurately and lost the game. Hannah was so disappointed in herself. She thought she was a bad player and that she would never play the game again. But her friends and teachers said, "It's okay to have defeats. The most important thing is to get back up and keep going." Hannah decided to keep practicing and not give up.
How it works
-
When was the last time you faced a defeat? Think about what went wrong and what you can learn from it. You can also ask others for advice.
-
Accept the defeat. It's okay to lose. Everyone makes mistakes and loses sometimes.
-
Don't focus on the defeat. Try to think about the positive things you learned from the situation.
-
Talk to your family or friends about what happened. They can support you and help you process it.
-
Focus on the future and keep practicing to get better. Celebrate the progress you've made. Think about all that you've already achieved.
-
Remember, defeats are part of life. You can learn and grow from them. Be brave and get back up!
