Make a Rose from a Bag!
Imagine you want to give someone a really beautiful gift. For a birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, or Valentine's Day. But you don't have a flower? No problem! You can make one yourself from a simple sandwich bag. With this trick, you'll amaze everyone. The rose grows right in your hand. Pure magic! It's most fun when you perform the trick right in front of the person you're giving it to. They'll be wide-eyed, I promise! And you? What you'll need
- A white sandwich paper bag
- Crayons
- Pipe cleaner
How it works

Take the sandwich bag and color it brightly. You can make red roses or yellow, blue, or multicolored ones. Whatever you like. Crayons work great.

Now, put your hand inside the bag like a glove. Here comes the trick: Gently push the bottom of the bag inward with one finger. Just a little bit, in the center. This will be the center of your rose later.

Then, grab the open ends of the bag with your hand from the outside. Pull the outer tips inward, as if you're pinching the bag. Hold it tightly. The hand inside the bag stays nice and still, that's the magic hand!

With your other hand, twist the bag further in one direction. Keep twisting, twisting, twisting. Look closely: Like by magic, the bag twists into a rose shape. Really cool, right?

In the end, you have a tight, twisted 'bloom' in your hand. To make your rose look like a real flower, you need a stem. For that, take the pipe cleaner and wrap it around the tip of your rose at the bottom. Twist it a few times tightly so nothing wobbles.

Tip: Show the person you want to gift it to the bag first. Say: 'I have something for you...' And then you magically pull the rose out of the bag right before their eyes! First unassuming, then wow! Not everyone has a gift like this. Have fun with the magic!
