How it works
-
Preparation: Adults (or older siblings) write individual letters on small cards or pieces of paper. They also come up with some words that can be formed with the letters.
-
Create a list: The adults create a list of the words that the children need to form with the found letters. This list is the secret key for the treasure hunt.
-
Hiding: The adults hide the letters all around the house or garden. Off to the treasure hunt! Now it's your job to find them. Look closely and think about where they might be hiding.
-
Did you find a letter? Great! Take it and add it to your collection. Keep searching until you find all the letters.
-
With the letters you found, you can now form the secret words. Can you guess all the words?
-
You did it! You found all the letters and formed the secret words. You are now a real letter detective. Have fun on the treasure hunt and don't forget: This mission is not just a big adventure, but it also helps you practice the alphabet.
