A word pyramid is like a tower of words that keeps getting bigger. You start with a simple word, and with each new word, you add another that relates to the first one. The more you practice, the better you remember the words, and soon you'll be able to read them super fast! Let's get started!

How it works

Take a simple word, like 'tree', and write it down. Read it out loud a few times until it rolls off your tongue easily. This is the start of your pyramid!
Now write down another word that fits with the first one. For example, 'treehouse'. Read both words together: 'tree, treehouse'. Write it clearly so you can read it again and again.
The pyramid is growing! Now add 'tree trunk'. Read all three words out loud in a row. Repeat them as often as you need until you can read them fluently.
You can keep adding more words that fit together. Each time, the pyramid gets bigger. Write them down and read them. For example, 'tree root'. Now read 'tree, treehouse, tree trunk, tree root'.
By writing them down, you remember the words better. Every time you add a new word and write it, you're practicing your writing and reading skills at the same time. And the more you read the words out loud, the faster you can recognize them!
Now it's your turn! Think of a theme, like 'summer', 'school', or 'animals'. Come up with words that match your theme and build your own pyramid. Write them down, read them out loud, and practice as often as you can until you can read the words fluently.
