The treetops form the highest level of the forest. Many birds, insects, and other animals find plenty of food there. For example, owls, hawks, and squirrels build their nests in the treetops. Can you spot any nests?

A squirrel builds a round nest high up in the treetops. This is called a drey. It consists of twigs and branches. Inside, it is cozy and soft thanks to moss and grasses. Do you discover a drey in the treetops?

Trees can grow over 50 meters tall. The native deciduous trees usually don't grow more than 40 meters high. Search for the highest point of the observation platform and enjoy the breathtaking view.
