Imagine there is a secret person in your family or among your friends. This person has a special task: to be extra nice and helpful all day long, but no one must know who it is! But be careful: Everyone has to be friendly and nice to each other because anyone could be the secret person! This game is fun and a great way to improve togetherness. You will learn how wonderful it is to help others and be kind, all while having fun! Here we show you step by step how the game works.

How it works

First, print out the template. On the template, you will see smileys and a detective. Cut them out and fold each piece of paper twice so that no one can see what is written on it. Now place all the folded papers in a bowl or something similar. The excitement begins here!
Each player secretly draws a paper and checks if they have drawn the detective. Only the person who drew the detective knows they are the secret person. Then, discreetly hide the paper in your pocket so that no one notices.
The secret person now has the task of being especially nice and helpful all day long without anyone realizing it. Important: The secret person must not reveal to anyone that they are the secret person! They must behave discreetly while helping others or being friendly.
Now comes the special part: All players must be nice and friendly to each other all day long! Why? Because no one knows who the secret person is. Everyone should think that they could be the secret person.
This means everyone tries to be polite and helpful. Maybe you help your brother or sister with their homework or clear the table. Or you give someone a compliment or help tidy up. Anything that helps others and is kind counts!
At the end of the day or at a set time, the exciting moment comes: Now you get to guess who the secret person was. Everyone in the family gets to say once who they think the secret person is.
You can talk about what the secret person did and how they managed to be so nice without being discovered. After guessing, you can sit down together and discuss how it was to be friendly all day. Did anyone do a particularly nice deed?
