How it works

Find a tree that looks like it has a face - two knot holes for eyes, a crease for a mouth. Maybe you’ll find a tree with bark that looks like a nose. Once you’ve found the tree, kindly say "Hello".
Now look at the base of the face tree. Do you see moss there? It’s green and feels soft. Remember which side of the tree the moss is growing on. Moss usually grows on the north side of the tree, where it’s shadier and wetter. That’s the way you should go!
There are many treasures hidden in this forest. Can you find beautiful leaves or feathers? Collect five different forest treasures. But instead of keeping them, you should give them to the forest animals. Place them carefully in a spot where animals can find them.
Do you hear the chirping of a bird? The bird is singing a song for you. Try to determine the direction the chirping is coming from and follow the bird's song.
Now close your eyes and listen to the wind. The wind carries the secrets of the forest. Can you hear from which direction it blows? The wind will lead you to the crystal.
It’s time to search for the crystal. Look for a special stone or a piece of wood that looks like a crystal to you. Once you’ve found it, gently bring it to the face tree and quietly say: "We found the crystal."
Do you see how the forest around you lights up and comes to life? You did it! You found the lost crystal and returned the magic to the forest. Great job! You explored the forest, discovered its secrets, and helped the forest spirits.
