Routine Plans
Imagine starting your day and going to bed a bit more relaxed and stress-free – for you and your child! The routine plan can help with that. By going through the steps together and creatively crafting the plan, you not only encourage your child's sense of responsibility but also create a clear structure in daily life. Kids love to see what's coming next – it gives them security and turns daily tasks into a little adventure. Have fun :)
What you'll need
- Printer, template, 2x thick paper
- 10× wooden beads, 10× threads (23cm)
- Pricking needle or similar, mat, thick needle
- 2× old picture frames A4
How it works
-
Print the templates for morning and evening on thick paper. Decide if the order works for you or if you want to change something (see tips in the instructions). You can use the heart symbol as a personal placeholder (playtime, affirmations, etc.)
-
Place the printed template on the pricking mat. Poke two holes next to each picture (distance between holes about 10 cm). Now thread the string through the holes using a thick needle. Remember to always thread the wooden bead as well. Tie the threads together at the back.
-
Now all threads and beads should be used up. Check if you can slide the beads well from left to right and that it's not too tight. Now take the picture frames and frame the plans. This way they are portable and you can hang them on the wall.
What kids learn from this
- Imagination & social connection
- Emotional intelligence
