What you'll need

  • Multiplication template
  • Paper
  • Scissors
  • Popcorn bag
  • Alternatively, a bowl or box

How it works

  1. Download the template with the multiplication tasks. Print it out and cut out all the popcorn pieces.

  2. Fold them so that the tasks are hidden. Your math popcorn snacks are ready!

  3. Find an empty bowl, a small box, or a popcorn bag. Fill all the folded popcorn tasks inside. Mix well!

  4. In each round, draw a popcorn piece from the bag and solve the task. Are you quick and correct? Then the popcorn is 'eaten' and set aside. Did it not work out? No problem! The task goes back into the bag and will be tried again later.

  5. The round continues until all popcorn tasks are solved. You might notice that you take longer at the beginning and get faster towards the end. That’s learning!

  6. This is not just about math, but also about sticking with it and celebrating small successes. You can play the game over and over until you master the multiplication table. Get the template and get started!
