In this game, you will become word explorers. Each letter is a small island, and you are brave explorers jumping over letter rivers to find hidden treasures. These treasures are not made of gold or gems, but of new words you can learn. Doesn't that sound exciting? Let's get started!

How it works

Take your chalk and find a nice spot on the sidewalk or another suitable surface. Start drawing the letters of the alphabet large. You can arrange them in a line or in a circle, however you like.
Before you start jumping, go through all the letters together. Touch each letter island with your hand and say its name and sound. For example: 'S for Sun'.
Now it's time to go! Choose a word you want to explore. This word will be your treasure. Stand at the beginning of the first letter and jump from island to island to form the word. Each jump is an adventure, and with each successful jump, you get closer to your treasure.
Every time you successfully form a word, you have found a treasure. Call out the word loudly to claim it. Collect as many treasures as you can. Each treasure found is a new word you have learned.
After you have explored some words, it's time to discover new worlds. Try to form longer and more complicated words to expand your jumping skills and vocabulary. You can also hold competitions to see who can find the most treasures in a certain time.
At the end of your expedition, take a piece of paper and draw a treasure map where you mark all the words you have found. Each word is a marked treasure on your map. This way, you can always remember your adventures and see how much you have learned on your journey.
