How it works

In the lively jungle, where parrots sang and butterflies danced, lived Charlie the chameleon. He was fascinated by the many animals and their unique colors and patterns.
Every day, Charlie watched the animals and then changed his color to look just like them. One day he was as striped as a tiger, and the next day as bright as a parrot. He enjoyed constantly changing.
But deep down, Charlie wished that the other animals would like him without him changing his color. He wanted them to like him just because he was Charlie.
One day, Charlie met an old turtle by the riverbank. She told him that she had seen him in all his colors and said, 'You are at your most beautiful when you are simply yourself, Charlie.'
Bravely, Charlie decided not to change his color for a whole day. He was surprised when the other animals came to him and said how beautiful his natural color shone in the sun.
Charlie realized that he didn't need the colors or patterns of the other animals to be special. His uniqueness was his greatest gift.
To commemorate this special day, the animals held a big celebration. They celebrated the uniqueness of each animal. And Charlie, amidst all the colorful splendor, shone the brightest of all.
