Campfire Spot from Sticks
Have you ever dreamed of having your own campfire in the middle of the woods? Don't worry, you don't need a real fire for that. Just create a campfire spot using sticks you find in the forest! It's not only fun, but you'll also learn how to be creative in nature. Plus, you can pretend to have a campfire with your friends or family. So grab your backpack and let's go!
What you'll need
- Sticks
- A little imagination!
How it works
-
Go searching for sticks! There are plenty in the woods. Look for big sticks that are as long as your arm. Make sure to only take sticks that are already on the ground. You don't want to hurt the trees!
-
Once you have enough sticks, bring them to your campfire spot. Maybe you'll find a particularly nice place in the woods, like under a big tree. Now you can build your fire area.
-
Now it's time to use the sticks! Lay them crosswise against each other, like an 'X'. This is the base of your campfire. It's best to do this together as a team. One person lays the sticks, while the other holds them steady. Once the base is stable, you can add more sticks, leaning them like a teepee.
-
Did you find any pine cones or some leaves? You can add those too to make it look even more realistic.
-
When everything is in place, imagine you are an adventurer in the woods and want to 'light' the fire. You can pretend to strike sparks with two stones. Boom! Your campfire is burning, but only in your imagination!
-
What could be better than exciting stories? Sit around your campfire and let your imagination run wild. Start telling a tale about a knight who defeated a dragon or a secret treasure in the woods. You can create a story with friends or family.
-
Building a campfire from sticks is not only exciting but also a great exercise in teamwork with friends or family. Everyone can contribute. You gather sticks, build a fire spot, and invent campfire stories.
