How it works

Before they set off, Leon and Mia had to make sure their bikes were in good condition. They checked the air in the tires, the brakes, and their helmets. Check your bikes and make sure everything is safe before you go on your bike ride.

The first marker on the map was a picture of colorful birds. Leon and Mia rode through their neighborhood looking for colorful birds in the trees. Find three different types of colorful birds on your bike ride!

The next marker was a picture of an old, gnarled tree. They had to look for such a tree on their bike ride. Find the oldest and gnarliest tree on your route!

The third marker was a picture of beautiful blooming flowers. Leon and Mia rode through parks and gardens looking for different types of flowers. Find and name three different types of blooming flowers on your bike ride!

The fourth marker was a picture of a small stream. They had to look for a stream on their bike ride. Find a stream, lake, or river on your bike ride!

After all that biking and exploring, they were hungry. They stopped at a nice spot and had a picnic. Find a nice place for a picnic on your bike ride!

The last symbol on the map was a picture of a bench. Leon and Mia did it! After following all the clues on their exciting bike ride, they found the treasure under the bench in the park. Look for a bench; maybe the treasure is hidden underneath.
