How it works

Prepare: Think about why you like the book so much and what happens in it. Consider your favorite characters and a great scene from the book that you want to share with others.
Sit in a circle: Everyone sits together in a circle so that everyone can listen well. Place your books in front of you.
Book presentation: One child starts and shows their book. Briefly explain what the book is about and introduce your favorite characters. Also, share a funny or exciting scene from the book.
Ask questions: The other children can ask questions, such as: "Why is this your favorite book?" or "What happens at the end of the story?". Answer the questions as best as you can.
Keep going: After all questions have been answered, it's the next child's turn. Continue until all children have presented their favorite book.
Book exchange: Now comes the exciting part – the book exchange! Everyone places their favorite book in the center of the circle. You can then look at the other books, browse through them, and ask questions. You might even discover a new favorite book!
Return books: At the end of the exchange, everyone gets their favorite book back. Maybe you feel like borrowing a specific book from the library to read at home.
