How to Play Well Together
Often, you want to play with other kids and have fun. That's great! But it's also important that we all treat each other kindly and don't hurt anyone. Here are some things to keep in mind.
How it works
-
If you want to join in, ask politely: "Can I play too, please?" This shows that you are nice and want to be included.
-
When you share toys or things, it becomes easier to find friends who want to play with you. That's a nice thing to do.
-
When other kids explain how the game works, listen carefully. Then you can understand better and play along correctly.
-
Games have rules that help keep everything fair. Follow the rules and the wishes of the other kids. If you don't know how the game works, ask! It's okay to ask for help or explanations.
-
Don't do things that might hurt others. Games are meant to bring joy without hurting anyone. If you accidentally were rough or rude, say sorry. That shows you want to do better.
-
If you keep these things in mind, you'll be a great playmate, and you can have lots of fun playing!
